Favicon contest on the way!

At FUN-DNA we like the design of our site, but the thing we don't really like is our favicon. We know it's not the most important part of the website, and that even some sites just don't have any, but we would really enjoy having a nice favicon. Because we didn't manage to make anything that looks reasonable, we're going to ask you to make a nice favicon for us, and if you made the best one, we'll use it for real! More info coming soon...

New FUN-DNA video page coming!

We're now working on a new Video page for FUN-DNA, this page will contain all our own videos (so no other videos) and will be probably just embedded from Youtube, but now in HD! The page will be online before Christmas, like the forum (that's our deadline ^^).

Ads on FUN-DNA...

Everything on FUN-DNA is free, as you know, but the website itself costs us money.. That's why we decided to put some google ads on FUN-DNA. We are still working on a nice 'Donate Now' button, but to cover the costs a bit now, there are 2 ads on the top and the bottom of the page.

We chose Google, because the ads are not very annoying, they don't move, and they don't make wierd sounds. If you have good ideas/think the ads are annoying, just leave a comment, and we'll take a look at it!

No installer? We'll create one for you!

Do you have a freeware program that doesn't need to be installed, so you can just copy the folder somewhere on your harddisk and start it from there?

From now on you can have it installed on your pc like all the other programs, just create an account send the link to the program to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and make sure you put your username in the message. If you do that right we'll create an installer for you and we'll send you a download link of it.

So you never have to search for small programs that you've copied to your hard disk anymore, 'cause now you can just install them like any other application! It will create a Start Menu shortcut, a desktop shortcut and of course an uninstaller!
